A. The applicant should faithfully fill in the Application Form and prepare the following documents:

1. Non-degree Students

① Academic diploma: A copy of the applicant’s latest academic diploma or confirmation of enrollment in high school or university.

② A copy of the applicant’s passport  (the page with applicant’s photo.).

2.  Degree Students

① Academic diploma: A copy of the applicant’s latest academic diploma or confirmation of enrollment in high school or university.

② Academic record: The notarized copy of the academic records.

③ Two recommendation/reference letters if applying for doctoral program.

④ A copy of the applicant’s passport (the page with applicant’s photo).    

   ⑤ Corresponding HSK(Chinese Language Proficiency) certificate

3.  More documents are required for those who are studying in another Chinese institution：

① A stamped approval letter from the Foreign Students’Office of the current university.

② A copy of the valid visa or Residence Permit in China.

B. Please send the filled Application Form and other required documents.

C. On receiving your complete applications documents, we will send you both the Admission Notice and Visa Application for Study in China (JW202) within two months by surface mail.

D. You are asked to do the physical examination at a formal medical institution and prepare two origional copies of the Physical Examination Record for Foreigners. You'll need one copy to apply Study Visa ( X or F Visa ) together with your passport, the Admission Notice and JW202 Form from a nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate. And you'll need the other one to apply for the Residence Permit within 30 days after you come to China.

E. The deadline for application for the fall semester commencing in the beginning of September is end of June . The deadline for application for the spring semeter commencing in the beginning of March is January 1. July to August and mid-January to mid-Feburay are Summer and Winter vacations respectively. Short-term (one or two months) students are asked to apply at least two months beforehand, and may come to China with valid F (visit) or L (tour) visa.
